    Yes they are,

    both have their own qualities. May be ntop have more features.

    Thanks for your answer and sorry for my poor english.

    When I talk about “network traffic analyzer”, I mean the way Packeteer does.
    A kind of learning mode.

    From my point of view ( I am not a specialist), at the begining of a QOS stuff I don’t know how the bandwidth is used and what ports and/or l7 protocols are used.
    So before to decide anything, I have to learn who is using what.
    Then I’m able to decide how I’ll share the bandwidth and what and who I’ll lock.

    May be I am wrong… Sure I am unexperimented in ZeroShell 😉
