    Am using the command

    usb_modeswitch -v 12d1 -p 140b -H 1

    is it correct…?

    First i configured the modem EC168C there was no problem in configuring that device…

    when i connect this modem and hit the first command still no such file or directory….

    Earlier i configured a Internet and VPN connection using this modem(EC168C)….

    When i tried with the new modem its not even detecting in the zeroshell. The old one still working..

    When i execute the command ls -l /dev/ttyUSB*

    ls: /dev/ttyUSB*: No such file or directory

    Yah …I figure it out….

    I hit the command

    usb_modeswitch -v 12d1 -p 140b -H 1

    and it is done…

    root@zeroshell etc> usb_modeswitch -v 12d1 -p 140b -H 1

    * Works with libusb 0.1.12 and probably other versions

    Looking for default devices
    Found default devices (1)
    Prepare switching, accessing latest device
    OK, Huawei control message successfully sent.
    -> See /proc/bus/usb/devices (or call lsusb) for changes. Bye

    When i tried to add a new USB modem using the webUI…

    Modem connected to field is still Not located…

    and /proc/bus/usb/devices gives…
