I think you should ask your cousin to install some anti-virus/malware software that will surely help detect if there is any virus or malware affecting the system.
Just looking at the IP as far as my knowledge goes would not help.
Yes he contacted the PS support on twitter and told them about the issue, they gave him a guide and there were reasons listed for ‘why your profile got banned or why PSN is rejecting your Ip’. One of the reasons were about having a spyware, malware or any sort of virus in your computer system that is connected from a same router, PS has some sort of hawkeye that monitors connection. If they detect something smelly on the other end, they just don’t allow their user to enter PSN system.
Is this related to Zeroshell? How?
If your cousing runs ZS on his router, why would he not just backup profile, reimage the router from a fresh download and restore profile to erase any possible virus?
Yes he uses ZS that’s why I put it here brother.
It was due to the virus and malware present in his other system. PSN was blocking his access. He’s not banned now. He is using it, he just had to run a scan and detect that virus.
I observed this behaviour when my router was connected to the DSL modem via a 100 Mbit USB to Ethernet adapter by DLink. Replaced that with an Intel based PCIe NIC and that solved the problem for good.
You are obviously connecting through a real NIC. I would only recommend replacing Realtek with Intel, but it is unlikely that is your issue. Dunno, sounds odd.
You do not need anywhere near 2 GB RAM. I am running with 256 MB just fine and ZS only peaks around 120 MB. My router has 1.6 GHz Atom now, previously it had a 2.2 GHz Celeron P4. So your hardware should be adequate to the downlink you have.
Have watched the other thread i created. I did see your link. On the other hand i was also looking at PureVPN. And i think it is a good one after i was also read its praises on one another forum.
I have purchased their 2 year deal which is for $3 approx per month.
Now i just need to know how to set it up with my router.
I did google search and even tried one but it did not work.
Do you have any idea about it.
I do, check the other blog on that link, it will guide you on how to setup it on router.
i will surely look into the link you have provided, thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
Hello, i need to connect my VPN from the router so i can use my smartphone and the desktop with security.
Any guide on how to get it through?
Check the other thread you have posted. The answer is there.
Well, when you say hackers can still find your original IP, it means the vpn would not be the best one to go for.
There must be something which is tried and tested.
You are right and i have done that too looking up with Google.
But the problem is most of them are review sites which i don’t believe in.
Do you have any review site which you trust on or have taken their suggestions while looking for a VPN.
Reason to make this thread was to get original experiences of people who have used one.
Well, there are many, at time when I was looking for I came across many review sites, read their blogs on VPNs and its features and I bought two of the VPNs that were highly ranked on several review sites and man I wasn’t wrong to do so (though I still don’t agree with protection I just use it for cloaking my IP and getting geo-locked content). Check https://www.bestvpnprovider.com/vyprvpn-review/ for instance.
There are many. The top searched results are on Google. But I want to ask one thing, what exactly do you mean when you are saying security? Coz as far as I know VPN’s don’t provide any sort of security. They just put a decoy IP up front in front of your original one.
Hackers will and can still see your original IP and hence, no security!
However, there are plenty of vpns that can fall under “BEST VPN” tag.
Just seach best vpns and you’ll have your results in front of you 🙂
Guys any solution to this problem? I need an urgent solution to this on going hacking saga!
Well, he uses linux and windows on his system. He has used multiple protection program and nothing is helpful.March 22, 2017 at 1:57 pm in reply to: Cannot get Zerotruth autentication page automatically #54362
The device is not automatically detecting the IP. This could be due to a IP conflict issue. Which device are you using for Internet connection?
Nice. Thanks for sharing
had the same issues weeks ago! this thread is helpful. Will try it
why dont you do an (IPsec/OpenVPN) any from any to any on plexIP? I believe it would fall under IPsec, in your rules you control traffic flow. If anything just do an IPsec rule, see if that works – if it does then you’re good. You can also tighten it like :IPsec any to PLEXIP on PLEXPORT allow and then lock everything else any to any * * deny.
Check this vyprvpn review for more information.
For clarity can you please post speedtest results? The settings seems fine from here. There shouldn’t be any problem with your connection or speed. I have the same setting here on my pc and the speed is just what my ISP provides me.
