Hello, 6 days ago I upgraded to ZS 1b10 from 1b09, and L7 definitions l7-protocols-2008-10-04. I’m running from ISO with local storage (MPT).

I had a kernel panic this morning, with last lines:

    EIP: [] serarch_all_kazaa+0xa0/0xe0 [ipt_ipp2p] SS:ESP 0068:f7845ac8
Kernel panic – not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt

    Here’s the capture:

I just started up with the 1b11 with definitions l7-protocols-2008-10-04, wondering if the overall improvements in the stability of the system will help out my problem. For a hardware profile, gander here:

The beta11 release has some changes that could solve the problem such as:

    – the Kernel is more stable

    – a new C compiler is used

    – a newer version of the L7 definition is used

In any case, I think that is a network interrupt problem due to an incompatibility of the hardware you are using. If the problem appears again you should try to change at least the model of the network cards.

    Regards
    Fulvio
