    Hi Flavio,

Just tried to upgrade to ZeroShell-1.0.beta10.iso but the kernel fails to read the CDROM after booting the with the following:

    Booting the kernel.
Probing [hda] CDROM to startup the system …
    hda: DMA rread error
    ATAPI device had:
    Invalid command opertation code — (asc=0x20, asq=0x00)
The failed “read 10” packet command was:
end request: I/O error, dev hda, sector 64
    Probing (1) USB……
    Bootstrap failure
Kernel panic – not sync: VFS: unable to mount root fs on unknown block(1,2)

    I’m running 1.0b9 without a problem on 2 x HP dl360 G3’s
and downloaded 2 copies and burnt 4 cd’s on 2 different writers just to make sure, any idea’s much appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Hi Flavio,

Still having a problem on HP dl360 g3’s, happy to pay for support as I can’t progress beyond 1.0b9 without changing my hardware 🙁

If your motherboard is able to boot from an USB device, try with an external CDROM reader or an USB flash disk. If you decide to use a flash disk you must use the compactflash image.
