Here is the hardware I got:
Dell PowerEdge 2650 2x Xeon 2.8Ghz with 12GB of Ram
This only supports 32-Bit Memory Addressing.
Here is what I am trying to do:
Zeroshell 3.3.2 no longer support a PAE Kernal out of the box.
But Zeroshell 3.0.0 supports a PAE Kernal – Kernel 3.14.21-ZS-PAE, So if I reinstall Zeroshell 3.0.0 and then install the PAE Kernal included with the release. After that do an upgrade to Zeroshell 3.3.2. Here is 2 questions I have:
1. Will the PAE Kernal be retained in the upgrade?
2. Is the LUN Code the same for 3.0.0, if so, as long as I do not change hardware am I still avaiable to activate.
I do not know if anyone has tried this before, If so could you let me know if you were successful or not.
Thanks you so much 🙂
