    Hi there,
I’ve to put a transparent proxy between some (dumb) machines, which can’t use a proxy for http on their own, to connect to the Internet. Configuring havp was easy, all requests from those clients are forwarded to the webproxy to reach the Internet.
But I’ve found no way to tell Zeroshell itself to use the proxy, e.g. to load packages. I’ve tried from a hint to include environment variables in the startup script for httpd (in fact I put it in a pre-boot script to be added to /etc/sysconfig/rc to be used system wide), but this doesn’t work.

    export http_proxy=”http:`//proxy.example.com:8080″
    export https_proxy=”http`://proxy.example:8080″

Any ideas around to solve this?

    regards Jan
