    in local wifi communities around me mikrotik is widely used for routing.

    the only thing which discourages me of using ZS in this type of environments is extra channels and adequate hotspot/portal, along with good wifi configuration.

    for reasons that the main spectrum of 2.4 is saturated, we use extra channels (below 2400, above 2500mhz range) so the back-bone links do the job without interference which other wireless equipment.. chipsets used are based on atheros products (trendnet,dlink and ecc)

    this would be a nice future feature along in better wifi gui 😉

    Hi
    If you provide me with the required modules to add to the kernel, I can give it a try.
    So far I have compiled ath5k and ath9k and madwifi that is bundled with, I have not been able to try it so far but will though.
