    Hello all,

I am configuring Windows Small Business Server 08 behind a ZeroShell Router.

In the course of one of Microsofts endless Wizards, it is trying to open ports on the Router.

How do I allow Windows Server to configure the Router.

and before you ask, I am a tech instructor and I need to use the wizards to make this happen becuase I have to teach it that way.

    thanks!!!

In order to “open ports” on the router you have to go to “Network” -> “Router” -> “Virtual Server” and configure the ports you want to open towards the device you want.

I was able to do that manually, I wonder if there is a setting in ZerShell that will allow Windows Server to configure the router automatically (SNMP?)

You mean UPnP. This is not available in ZS.
