    Hi
    I use Openvpn and it works great.
    However sometimes I need to connect using built-in VPN mechanisms like L2TP or PPtP.

    WIth L2TP I am stuck on host certificate – during installation its ask me for a certificate password – I followed instructions and there are screenshots wher U are asked for a host certificate password – but during host certificate export check box for password is not active

    With PPTP I managed to connect and it worked, but only for a while.
    Just after reboot I could connect and I was able to see in the loggers (pppd, pptpd, radiusd) whole communication with RADIUS and functionality was exectly as I expected, but after a while unfortunately pppd stopped sending requests to radius

    11:43:12   Plugin radius.so loaded.
    11:43:12 RADIUS plugin initialized.
    11:43:12 pppd 2.4.3 started by root, uid 0
    11:43:12 Using interface ppp10
    11:43:12 Connect: ppp10 < --> /dev/pts/1
    11:43:42 LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests
    11:43:42 Connection terminated.
    11:43:42 Using interface ppp10
    11:43:42 Connect: ppp10 < --> /dev/pts/1

    Comment: during “good” scenario I had here MPPE stateless activated and then radius request, proper authorization, and stuff informing on IPs on both sides etc

    11:43:42 tcflush failed: Bad file descriptor
    11:43:42 Exit.

    I saw several times fulvio stating that PPTP was not supported, but manual by vpn_rollercoaster show it can be done.

    On the other way I can not get through this host certificate password thing

    Anybody struggled with it?
    Anybody can help?

    Bart
