You can check via IP leach checker: https://ipleak.net/
And if you are using unreliable vpn your IP address definitely leaking. So I always recommend to use a reliable VPN like ExpressVPN.

Because of mostly unreliable and free VPN leak your IP address, To checkout reliable and secure vpn you can visit this source: https://www.allbestvpn.com/

Visit a site like What Is My IP Address and jot down your actual ISP-provided IP address and then Log in to your VPN, choose an exit server in another country and verify that you’re connected go back to What Is My IP Address and check your IP address again.

You can check here at https://www.purevpn.com/ipv6-leak-test
It is good to check this up on trial before buying a vpn. I also bought vpn for my mac after checking the necessary things like reading out reviews about the vpn service provider, checking the leaks like dns and obviously ip leak test on the trial period than bought the full plan.

Testing for leaks is quite easy. According to vpnAlert VPN leak tests can be done using the following websites and tools:

    IPLeak
    IpLeak
    Ip8
    IPX
    dnsleaktest
    BrowserLeaks
    Perfect-Privacy

Don’t forget to do a malware test. Like any installation file, VPN clients can be used to inject malicious programs into your device. Read more about that on https://vpnalert.com/
