    Captive portal is disconnecting client when I am connecting to my custom vpn client. During authentication phase, I get error in captive portal log saying “authenticator message is expired and cannot be renewed”

    This vpn is local laptop connected to internet via zeroshell captive portal -connecting to NON-Zeroshell VPN server on other side of country…

    works fine on standard comcast line when i take zeroshell out of the configuration

    any thoughts?



    I know this issue.
    At the present time you could solve the problem by setting the “Authenticator Validity” to “For ever” in the [Captive Portal]->[Gateway] section.
