At the school that I work we use a proxy server, could you advise on the best way to achieve an internet connection through captive portal, i realise the clients can’t have proxy settings on their computers because captive portal wont redirect port 8080, is there a way of maybe putting a computer in between zeroshell and the proxy server so that it transparently translates the requests, or is there a way in zeroshell to achieve this.
Or do i try to convince management to drop the proxy router and buy an ISA server.

    Thanks in advance

I do have the same problem at the school, the solution is to set up a transparent proxy, so ZS is able to capture https request on port 80 i mean
