MemberIs there troubleshooting assistance for me. I managed to get Zeroshell going everything is working fine but wlan just stops working after (roughly) 6 hours. This has happened everyday since I built the box.
wlan0 is not bridged but on its own segment. the device is.
[wlan0] Ralink corp. RT5392 PCIe Wireless Network Adapter
Assistance is appreciated. 🙄

Anybone? Any suggestions?
I’ve reduced the power output to 15db; so the wifi doesn’t drop but there still is no connectivity the next morning.

MemberHi,
Seems like a hardware issue, maybe an incompatibility.
I have no exp with this interface, but you should try to update the firmware file. I also compiled an updated version of hostap that support wifi AC. You can get and try it it from here:
http://jb68.com/pkg/
Also check my post abut how to install new hostap and firmware locations:
https://www.zeroshell.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7143
I am running both interfaces described in the post, in the same time each with 2 SSIDs, one from each in a bridge and one independent and I had no issues for more than a few months.February 17, 2017 at 9:23 am #54339zabzoo@gmail.com

I going to get a Wifi only device which will live off the same network, but will not be managed by Zeroshell. The disconnects are a bit frustrating.
Apart from that, the tool is great.
