    Hi,

I’ve recently added an extra NIC to my zeroshell box and configured the system to be a net balancer. In doing so i’ve had to remove the bridge and set it up in routed mode.

Can you only apply QOS in bridge mode?

Can you only use Net balancer in routed mode?

Am i right in assuming now that i will no longer be able to use the QOS on the web traffic?

Is there any way round this? Is it possible to create a bridge with the net balancer i.e bridge the LAN and WAN and have the the wan interface plugged to an external switch with both gateways attached and then apply QOS on the bridge as usual? Or is it essential that the wan interface/s have ips on the subnet of the two gateways and therefore need to be in routed mode for the net balancer to work?

Is my only solution to use a separate box handling tasks of the QOS?

    regards
    robin
