So, I’m running zero shell 3.5.0, pretty much all default settings, and for some strange reason m PS3 won’t hit the update / download servers for the online content and updates. It’s driving me mad. Works with my netgear wi-fi router when I have the uPNP turned on, but not when I use my zero shell.

Furthermore, yes, I have tried forwarding all ports to the PS3 IP to no avail. Still doesn’t update. Please, please, does anyone have any suggestions or can they tell me where the stupid uPNP settings are?

You only need to forward the ports when an external connection has to be established to the LAN host.

I know nothing of PS3 – can you find out what IP/ports it is trying to connect to and ping them from PS3?
