    Hi there,

    i use Zeroshell and i am very happy with it. I get all my needs covered, except on thing.
    But let me give you a quick idea about what i am doing:

    Basicly we use the Zeroshell with Zerotruth in a Hotel / Residential area. The captive portal is working well by zerotruth / zeroshell and makes our life much easier with the selfregistration. The people can use their credentials all around the resort – in the Lobby and at the beach or somewhere else except in their units.
    For that reason we used till now for the residents pfsense radius with pppoe (connected by routers with DD-WRT) and i works like a charme, but we have to add any client manually.

    This is what i want to change to Zeroshell as well. The people should be able to use their credentials (from the self registration with Zeroshell instead of Pfsense). So i started the PPTP server in Zeroshell and the DD-WRT routers connected through the Lan to the Zeroshell / Zerotruth with the same credentials they can use at the beach by using radius. Fine!

    The problem is, that because the problem in the DD-WRT (based on TP-Link WRT-740N) router the accounting packages never arrived at the Zeroshell, except on login and logout. And because that the residents connected by the routers get never disconnected nor counted.
    If i disconnect them manually the accounting works. But this is not prakticle. So far what i found out the problem is the missing
    Acct-Interim-Interval := 90,
    part in the pptp server or radius user files. Pfsense send it with any user setup in the “users” file of radius and it works.

    "user33" Cleartext-Password := "76747271", Simultaneous-Use := "5"

    Framed-IP-Address = 192.168.48.1,
    Framed-IP-Netmask = 255.255.255.0,
    WISPr-Bandwidth-Max-Up := 2048000,
    WISPr-Bandwidth-Max-Down := 8192000,
    Acct-Interim-Interval := 90,
    Exec-Program-Wait = "/bin/sh /usr/local/etc/raddb/scripts/datacounter_auth.sh user33 monthly"

    How can i tell the PPTP server or the “users” file to send this Interim-update request in Zeroshell to the PPTP-Client-routers? It will be really nice for us to have this done to. In this case we need only the Zeroshell 🙂

    Any ideas or help is highly appreciated.

    Kind Regards
    Aalnase
