Viewing 1 post (of 1 total) Author Posts December 12, 2011 at 9:31 pm #43213 sbbzsMember At least with the VMWare build from Sep10, using pptpd results in a huge pile of syslog spam (namely, every GRE packet gets noted in DatabaseLOGS…pptpd) quickly exhausting all drive space. Problem seems to be this one – “DEBUG logging to the syslog when the debug option has not been turned on” Found it referenced in several places, but the easiest to read seems to be here – http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=396187 Patch was supposedly included in later builds, so you might want to check if things are current.
