    Hello,

    Brand new to linux and zeroshell….

    I burned the zeroshell iso to a cd and I am attempting to boot from the cd on my laptop. laptop is able to boot from cd.
    My goal is to install to HD.

    I am stuck during the boot up with this message

    ide-cd: cmd 0x28 timed out
    hdc: DMA interrupt recovery
    hdc: lost interrupt

    laptop is
    Dell Latitude CP M233ST
    Pentium MMX
    233 MHz
    3GB HD
    64 MB RAM
    1 USB
    1 parallel floppy drive
    2 belkin pcmcia 32 bit card bus network cards

    Please help…

    I think that your IDE Cdrom does not work correctly.

    had no problems with ide hd before…..any other suggestions?
    perhaps you can recommend a firewall distro that supports pcmcia cards?
