I have tried to change named.conf with VI but everytime I restart the server it just disappears.

Where is the file I can change so it will stay?

That is because the root / filesystem is mounted on /dev/ram.

    Ok.

But is the file named.conf saved in the Database someware so I can change it?

I would like to change a setting under options called recursion.
I would like to shut this off.

    Regards

No, itsn’t. /etc/named.conf is dynamically generated when named process starts

You didn’t add the setting we discussed to the webadmin in the new release?

It would be perfect if you could do it to the next release.

With the release 1.0.beta3 I just implemented the QoS management and fixed small bugs. With the next release I hope to be able to satisfy all the requests posted in this forum.

Any possibility you could add the setting in next release?

Didn’t see it in release 1.0.beta4.
