    is it possible to control and limit bandwidth for vpn users ? i want to alocate public ips for vpn users and limit the download speeds for them.

    how do i do this ?

    i want to limit the download speed to like 1mbps for some clients

    If I remember well from other posts, per user bandwidth limit is still under development. You could try it on your own in the command line, there should definitely work.

    i am very new to linux, do you have a sample cmd config that explains how to do this ? it would be really helpful.

    or is there another linux based softwarethat has a web interface that can do this

    You could try reading LARTC in case it helps you. Otherwise maybe openwrt or pfsense might do the job.
