    Hi All,
I just installed this and tried to authenticate an RHEL OS as client to it. I got this error on /var/log/messages when i was trying to do ssh to the RHEL client which was authenticated to ZeroShell LDAP Server :

    base dc=example,dc=com
    host
    pam_password md5
    ssl start_tls

    base dc=example,dc=com
    host
    pam_password md5
    ssl start_tls

Feb 23 14:11:20 sshd[12065]: pam_ldap: error trying to bind as user “uid=,ou=People,dc=example,dc=com” (Invalid credentials)

I don’t know what is the problem. Probably something on the client side. Please let me know. It will be very helpful

    Thanks and Regards,
    Suchindra Chandrahas

OK, somewhat understandable. What is the Bind user for Zeroshell ?

The problem is on the client side.
You have to configure LDAP for “User Information” and Kerberos 5 for “Authentication”.
To do it on a RHEL OS you could use the authconfig utility.
