    So Ive installed 4.14.83 kernel but when I reboot the kernel is not chosen for boot, how can I ensure this? I have no direct access to the machine other than SSH and WebUI.

    Hello!

    You have to select the kernel In the Setup Section, Boot Button (top right), SLOT 1.
