I need to update two ZeroShell boxes. One has been running v 1.0.beta16 quite well for several years. I is running from the “LIVE” CD and writing profile info to the hard drive. It’s a non bridged NAT config. Will a new install of v3.7.1 be able to read the old v1.0.beta database/profile?
The second box is running 3.6.0 and is a firewall bridge, no NAT. Same question about reading the database/profile info
You can always take a backup of the profile and try, and go back if it does not work.
I don’t know actually, as I went from 1.0 to 2.0 then 3.0 and now I am on 3.5, each time the backup profile was restored successfully and worked fine between 3 different machines.
