This might be a dumb question, but i have so far been unable to rename the default kerberos realm to something proper instead of EXAMPLE.COM

i am using local kerberos realm for the captive portal, and it works just great, except i would like my users to select an appropriately named realm.

i can easily enough make a new realm, but zeroshell wont let me remove the default realm (and there is no rename button). also i though kerberos might get the name from the local dns, so i tried to change that too, but alas no luck.

could someone with a bit more kerberos knowledge in a zeroshell context, point me in the right direction?

    kind regards lone

You do not rename it. You should create one in the first place.

http://digidownload.libero.it/smasherdevourer/schede/linux/zeroshellEN.pdf is a good guide how to do it.
