I don’t want to use the Zeroshell box as a DNS server. I’ve looked all through the menus and the console menu and I can’t find a way to change the settings to give the system a DNS server to use.

I tried doing it manually, but I can’t even edit /etc/resolve.conf even as root and it won’t let me chmod resolve.conf either.

What’s the story on getting Zeroshell to use external DNS servers?

    Thanks

Zs always use internal dns. You can set forwarders.

For client you set preferred dns.

    Bye.
