    hello everyone.
i wanted to install zeroshell 3.0 on a vmware workstaion.
i recall i did this once with the iso image in 2.0 , i have noticed there is only a live cd iso for version 3.0 , is there a way to install zeroshell from livecd prompt on to vmware disk ?

you must start with booting with the live cd, then install the “installation feature”. you can proceed from there

Try this. I think VMware Workstation supports OVA templates.

Otherwise you can make a VM that boots from the LiveCD and uses a small virtual disk for storing profiles.

The best way is to get “img” package and convert it to vmdk disk.

    1. On linux, install package QEMU.
    2. Enter command : ”qemu-img convert -O vmdk fromimagefile.img tovmdkname.vmdk”
    3. Create a virtual machine with this converted image for master disk. Add a second disk to put all your config DB & Logging (+/- 8 GB).
    4. Don’t forget network.

You can now start and create a new profile.
Don’t forget to make a donation to have access on updates an support developpements.
