    Hi..

    I use Zeroshell 1.0 beta11 with captive portal. Everything work very good. I use local user database. User can login by using login page. But i cannot find the place where user can change password.

    Thank you.

    Go to
    Users -> Users -> Click on the bullet of the user, press “Edit” and now you can enter a new password.

    Thank you ppalias.

    Only admin can do it for users?
    I want normal user or my customer can change their password herself.

    I am not sure as I have not created any user other than admin ever. You may try to login on the ZS with one of your users and try to change the password to that user.

    You are right. A user is able to change its Kerberos 5 password with one of the following methods:

    1) Login in the web interface of Zeroshell with its username and password;

    2) using the Unix kpasswd command

    3) using the passwd command if the PAM modulea are Kerberos 5 compliant

    4) Pressing [CTRL][ALT][DEL] on a Windows 2000/XP/Vista workstation that can use the Kerberos REALM to authenticate the user.
