I have ZS installed to hd. I created my rules from command line.

Problem 1: I can list iptables with -L and other commands. I see the rules when I do so. However, in the gui I don’t see my rules.

Problem 2: Can rules be edited from gui? I don’t see how to do that.

Problem 3: Where are rules saved to on hd? So I could edit them manually.

I am new to creating firewalls but have been doing alot of reading, just trying to understand how ZS manages iptables.

any replies would be very appreciated. thanks

    1) You don’t see them cause they are written in a special file.
    2) Yes they can if you have created them from the gui.
    3) Search the forum, I recall it has been posted once again.
Iptables rules in ZS are stored in a special file to edit them and read it during boot to restore them.
