    Hello,

I haven’t tried ZeroShell yet, but I’m looking for a linux router distro that has DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit), VPP (Vector Packet Processing) and eBPF (extended Berkeley Packet filter) and ZeroShell seems to be one of the distros that is using new-enough kernels that these technologies might easily be implemented

Are these any features the dev team has worked with and/or plans to implement in future releases?

Also, I noticed BPF is being controlled with FirewallD in OpenSUSE Tumbleweed (but not leap yet) so it has made its way into at least one mainstream distro. DPDK and VPP are often in package repos and are easily implemented, so those would be easy enough just to add, BPF is the harder one since it needs an interface layer (I think).

Would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you!
