I’m having issues with DNS lookups failing when using zeroshell as my DNS server. I am using DNS Forwarding. If I point to the main DNS servers, it works fine, just not when I use the zeroshell server. It works fine for the normal dns entries, however, when I attempt to use an IP address it will fail.

    nslookup 192.168.57.25
    Server: UnKnown
    Address: 192.168.57.1

    *** UnKnown can't find 192.168.57.25: Non-existent domain

    nslookup os-server-dell
    Server: UnKnown
    Address: 192.168.57.1

    Non-authoritative answer:
    Name: os-server-dell.ORANGESOL.local
    Address: 192.168.57.25

PS – how do I fix the Unknown server when I’m using it as the DNS lookup server. I have a host entry defined in the DNS forwarding servers and it’s also defined as a host on the zeroshell router. Thanks 🙂
