    Hi.

I’m blocked with a DNS forwarder problem.

I’m using Enum for VOIP behind the zeroshell router, and it is broken since i’ve switched from openwrt to zeroshell.

It seems that the zeroshell DNS forwarder does not support inverse DNS resolution with NAPTR pointers, required by ENUM interrogations.

The solution i’ve found is to force the DNS server on the asterisk machine, but this is not ideal in a multiwan setup, where we need to find a DNS available from all wan. most of the time a DNS server is only accessible from the provider link.

    Olivier.

What are you using for the DNS forwarder ?

DNSMASQ seems to not have the NAPTR reverse DNS problem as it is working flawlessly inside openwrt.
