First, I’d like to say that I’m soooo happy to finally see a fairly complete router/authenticator/etc package for Linux. I’ve been using monowall, and although it works fine, I’m not much of a FreeBSD guru and find modifying monowall very difficult. Not to mention I have to use multiple monowall boxes to accomplish what I think can be done with one zeroshell box.

Anyway, my question is this… How would I go about customizing the captive portal page? I have a custom page I use in monowall that I’ld like to use in zeroshell. Is this possible?

    Thanks for the great software!

At the present time, it is not so easy to customize the web login page of the captive portal.
In any case you could change the /root/kerbynet.cgi/template/cp_showauth file which contains the web login page and then, to make the changes permanent you should copy it in the /Database directory and put the command
    cp /Database/cp_showauth /root/kerbynet.cgi/template/
in the file /etc/rc.local that is executed at the startup.
