Hi, I’m wondering is it possible that you’d support or add the feature of supporting CRYPT/MD5 password. For example, I have a bunch of users in /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow that I’d like to import to Zeroshell, or I have ldif entries like the following

    dn: uid=jdoe,ou=People,dc=example,dc=com
    uid: jdoe
    cn: John Doe
    objectClass: account
    objectClass: posixAccount
    objectClass: top
    userPassword: {crypt}U816DeEFXFyD6
    loginShell: /bin/bash
    uidNumber: 1234
    gidNumber: 1234
    homeDirectory: /home/jdoe
    gecos: John Doe,RoomA,123-4567,,,,

and I’d like to import that into zeroshell. As of 1.06 beta Compact Flash, I can import these entries, but the passsword attribute is not being taken. (I know you have plainText password in the LDAP.
I know this may not play well with some of the things such as WPA/PEAP…But this will be a huge plus for people who already have a user database already, so we do not need to re-create a bunch of user password. THANKS for listening. Please also feel free to let me know what I can do to help with this. I’d be happy to post related results I have. Thanks again.
