    Hello,

I’m using zeroshell on an ALIX board from a long time ago and now I have a problem.

When boot, it stops at starting ladp daemon so I can’t backup my data with zeroshell menu.

I’m trying to copy profile partition with a liveCD (ubuntu) but I can’t because I don’t have permission to read some folders…

Someone can explain me how to back my profile data? I don’t want to lose it

    Thanks

You will find your profiles in /DB/_DB.xxx where ‘xxx’ is a profile number. I think you can copy the contents of _DB.xxx to another Zeroshell installation’s /DB folder and that installation should recognize it.

The trick is finding which device /DB mounts to. On a ‘normal’ installed ZS it will be on /dev/sda4, but the administrator can put their profiles on any volume, making that the new /DB.
