MemberHi,
I today have switched to using Zeroshell instead of a low cost hardware firewall. I love the flexibility and power, however I am getting an issue with the internet connection. I am connected via ethernet to a service router which I do not have control over (supplied by the telco). I have allocated ETH01 as the ethernet port, the connection is a 2Mbit/sec leased line and was functioning ok with the other connection method (cable firewall/router). However now I am getting this error in my log very rapidly (between each 1sec and 1min). Just in case it was the ethernet being flooded I enabled QoS on the interface and capped the port to 2Mbit, this didn’t seem to have an effect. I have now capped it at 1.8 Max, 1.6 Garanteed, nothing appeared in the logs for a few minutes but then another one appeared. Is this a configuration error, a bad negotiation or me flooding the port and producing a hardware error?
Perhaps Zeroshell should handle this more gracefully?
Bob

Membertry to replace the network card and upgrade to zeroshell 1.0.beta10 which comes with a new kernel.
