Hello,
I went ahead and configured Zeroshell as shown below:
internetcable modemNic1[Zeroshell]Nic2client01
Nic1: IP Address: 98…249
Netmask: 255.255.25.240
GW Address: 98…241
Nic2: IP Address: 174…113/28
No Gateway??? Is this correct?
Client01: IP Address: 174…114/28
GW Address: 174…113
The problem that I am having is the following:
1. client01 can ping 174…113, ping 98…249, but fails pinging GW 98…241.
2. client01 can not get on the internet, unless NAT is enabled.
From Zeroshell “shell”, I can ping the internet, ping the GW, ping Nic1, and client01.
My goal is to use Zeroshell as a basic router. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
