For as long as I have been trying to use zeroshell's wifi AP, these problems have existed:

  • Doesn't work in 802.11n 5GHz. When you are asked to select a channel, only 2.4 GHz channels are listed
  • No option for running HT40?
  • Multiple SSIDs on a single device seem to cause connection instability

This isn't hardware specific. I've used three different chipsets now and moved platforms times, upgraded every version, started from scratch multiple times. These problems are very easy to reproduce and well documented on the forum.

Has anyone managed to get over 65Mbps out of it? Has anyone had any success manually configuring the hostapd? Or getting HT40 going?

Really? No interest what so ever? Still adding features, but no interest in the fact that the WiFi AP is still broken after all these years?

Show of hands for everyone using the WiFi app vs. those who are using the VoIP BPX added last week. Or running it in a XEN virtual machine, or using the SNMP Suite. What about the SQUID caching proxy?

Can we have a couple more things that work properly before new features added?

Samba added, but still Wifi still won't support 5Ghz or 40Mhz channels, SLAPD hangs randomly on changes, DHCP won't update DNS?
